Stars Zentangle

I was a little too eager to get my post up last night, and neglected the shading.  It always amazes me the difference shading can make in a tile!

Just a quick post to get my Zentangle up for the I Am The Diva challenge this week.  The challenge is to use the pattern Tipple as a monotangle.  I thought I would go with stars, since we're so close to the 4th of July!

If you like Zentangle, here is a link to my other blog, www.TangledInTheWord.blogspot.com .  I would love for you to stop by and visit.

Enjoy the holiday!

Blessings,

  5. Hi Linda, just cleaning out some links, and checking to see if still valid, so happened across yours, and to my delight, you're still blogging! The Stars Zen is just lovely. I've tried my hand at Tangling (a couple times) and it's not as easy as it looks. You've done a fabulous job, with the creativity of just the repetition of the tiny circles within these stars. It made a fantastic design on your card. I didn't seem to be a follower, although I had your blog bookmarked, so now I am your newest follower. Hope you might have time to visit me too. TFS

  6. Hi Lynda, saw the pretty T'giving card Candee P. shared and reminded me to pop over. I dabble with Zens (mainly when I don't feel like doing something else), but these are so unique the way you've arranged the grouping with the simple Zen designs. Yes, the shading DID add lots of dimension that pulled the eye right into the pretty card! Well done. Was going to become a follower but see that I already AM one! TFS
