Welcome to another Die-Cut Obsession day at Impression-Obsession.
My card today uses two dies and a stamp:
Lg Bird On Branch DIE161-N
All-In-One Frames Rectangle 2 DIE291-WW
Stamp: Fred Said Set WP915
I die-cut the bird on branch die from bristol smooth card stock, and painted with watercolor, then added shading with Polychromos colored pencils.
I also die-cut it from the same very pale green card stock as I used for the card. I attached some of the branches from the light green die to the card front. Then I attached the watercolored die.
I cut the All-In-One Frames and colored two of the frame pieces with the same colors I used on the bird and branches, then attached them.
The verse is from the Fred Said set. I love this set...it has some fabulous quotes from Fred Rogers...aka Mr. Rogers! I find myself reaching for it frequently.
For the inside, I used the negative of the frame to sponge distress inks through the openings to create a stenciled image.
Don't forget to check out what the other designers made today. You can find their links on the Impression-Obsesson blog HERE.
