New dies are available, and can be found
I have two more cards for your inspiration today.
Card 1: Hello Poppy Tag
DIES: Poppy Frame DIE794-YY
Hello Die from Greeting Set DIE174-W
I cut two tags, one from watercolor paper and one from gold metallic card stock. On the watercolor piece, I did water smooshing with red distress inks, and spattered some additional onto the tag.
I added a portion of the Poppy Frame die cut, to the watercolored Stitched Tag Die cut, carefully cutting around to get the piece free from the border and other flowers.
I used my Sakura Quickie Glue pen, which I love for these thin dies. It is not messy, and works very well.
I tied some black and gold cording through the openings, gluing the tags together, then adhered them with foam tape to a watercolor panel. Some pp and a gold strip along the edge border one edge.
The Hello die from the Greeting Set (an older IO die), was cut from black and gold card stock, and I layered them and added them to the front.
And for the inside:
And Card Two: Happy Birthday Poppy
DIES: Stitched Tag DIE798-Y
STAMPS: Life Stuff Sentiments CL491
Untie The Ribbons C5402 (inside)
I used watercolor to apply the smoosh technique onto watercolor paper for the card front, and for the Stitched Tag die cut. I cut the tag Stitched Tag from green background I had created, and layered the coral panel onto an A2 card, then foam-taped the tag onto it for dimension.
I cut the Poppy Frame from white card stock, and reserved the insides, which I had colored with Copic markers. I adhered the Poppy Frame, then added each colored piece into it's respective area.
The Happy birthday verse from the Life Stuff Sentiments set is stamped in VersaFine Claire nocturne ink onto the banner that is included in the Stitched Tag die set. I added this piece to the tag, and tied a piece of Hug Snug white seam binding into a bow through the loophole.
And, for the inside, some more cut-out pieces, a Pink Stitched Sentiment Banner, and stamping.....
I hope my cards inspire you today. You can check out all the new release dies at the Impression-Obsession store HERE.
Don't forget, leave a comment for another chance to win a $25 IO Gift Certificate. You can leave one comment each day on each blog.
