My card features a beach, some waves, and a flamingo!

I masked off an area of a card stock panel for the sky, using torn paper and my brush applicator and some torn paper to apply distress ink, creating clouds.
I moved the mask to the sky area to cover it, and tore a piece of paper with a jagged edge to create a mask for the sand for the beach, then applied deeper blue for the water, and browns for the beach.
I used embossing paste and applied dabs of it with my spatula, creating wave crests. When dry, I added the verse, then the die cuts.

I had fun creating my beach card! Now, I'm going out to play in my garden for a while. I think perhaps we may take a ride to the beach later this evening to watch the sun set over the lake! Sounds like a great plan.

ReplyDeleteLove what you did with the waves. I have bought the embossing paste, but I have not yet played with mine. I think I might give your idea a try. You have certainly made a beautiful card.
