I have three cards for your inspiration today.  All of my cards use the Wild Rose Stem.  I thought it would be fun to create three very different cards using this stamp as the main focal point.  Check it out, and I'm sure you will see why I just had to have this stamp!
Wild Rose Love

It's so hard to pick a favorite from this release!  I love all of the botanicals, critters, and of course, the fabulous background designs.  What can't you do with a gingham background.  And this is one of two mini ginghams!  I have to say, I did a little happy dance when I saw these and the others!

I stamped the Mini Gingham with black ink, using my Misti, so that I could restamp until I got the desired intensity.  I added the background panel to a white A2 card.

I embossed the Botanical Love onto a white scrap, painted it, and added it to the card with foam tape, and a strip of pink card stock to offset it.

I embossed the Wild Rose Stem, water colored it with my Arteza Real Brush markers and a waterbrush, then fussy-cut it and added it around the Love banner.

I used Canson Recycled vellum to stamp the Wild Rose Stem , then painted it with Arteza Real Brush markers and a waterbrush.  When that was dry, I stamped some of the leaves from the Pretty Pitcher and Spring Leaves Set  to fill in some areas.  I did use a rough mask to mask out the roses.

I used distress ink and brush applicators to brush a distressed edge, then added some spatters.

I stamped the Love Is Patient verse with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, in my Misti, to insure full coverage.  Some Studio Katia crystals finish off the card front.

The World Needs

For my final card today, I gold embossed the Wild Rose Stem, and the World Needs verse, then watercolored the roses with Gansai Tambi shimmering watercolor gems.  I love the way these paints shimmer!   I added some of the shimmery gold from the Gansai Tambi shimmering watercolors starry palette to the flowers, leaves, and some to the background, which I had previously painted with some blue distress ink.

I distressed the edges, and added some spatters.

Well, that's it for today.  A rather lengthy post, but I know that you like to know how our cards are created, so I like to give you the deets.

Be sure to check out the other designer's projects
today, and at 6am each day.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.  I will be back tomorrow with more inspiration from the new spring line!

  23. Wow Lynda! You really channeled your inner Jill Foster with these cards! Just gorgeous!!! I love your blog because you don't make the same style card over and over! These are just stunning, and yes I see why you (and I) needed the Wild Rose stem stamp!!! Wow, is that versatile! Your first card is very Altenew looking, especially with the gray leaves and the watercolor look. But the next two are very Penny Black inspired in their design, coloring, and backgrounds! Love that you can get so many looks from just the one stamp!!! Well done!
