I stamped the Impression-Obsession stamp, Mopsie B19929
onto a piece of white Strathmore bristol card stock, and colored her with my Polychromos colored pencils.
I masked the bunny and used TH distress inks to brush some Tumbled Glass ink onto the bottom corner and up, gradually fading it out near the top.
I then placed a stencil, Mini Rosetta, by The Crafter's Workshop, onto the panel, and brushed more color over it to get the pattern.
I stamped IO's verse Beginning 13759 onto the upper left using coffee Ranger archival ink. I used my Misti so that I could stamp the image two or three times to get more intensity.
I mounted the panel onto a blue card stock panel, then onto a kraft colored A2 card, which I had stenciled with the same stencil as the blue image panel. I mounted the panel onto the card front with craft foam for dimension.
I added a double bow which I had made from Hug Snug seam binding, and dyed by smooshing it into a puddle of Tumbled Glass distress ink and water, and dried with my heat tool before forming it into a bow. I love the seam binding for bows. It has a natural sheen, and the 100 yard roll lasts a long, long time. I just have white, and dye it whatever color I need. If you dye it, and wad it into a tight ball, then let it dry, it comes out really crumpled. I like that for different cards. I used it that way on a card on THIS POST a while ago. I used the same stencil on that post also!
That's it for this easy-peasy card today. I love this quote by Fred Rogers. Do you remember Mr. Rogers? He is a wonderful person, and has a depth of wisdom. I used to love to watch his show with my daughter.
On my card today I used:
Mopsie B19929
Beginning 13759 (verse)
Polychromos colored pencils
Strathmore bristol card stock
Hug Snug seam binding
