I love pink, so this was not a problem for me. I started with some oldie, but certainly goody, Impression-Obsession stamps, a pink card, and some ink......
I used:
Stamps:
Impression-Obsession Daisy Love clear stamp set
Impression-Obsession Filigrees clear stamp set
Impression-Obsession Ornate Borders clear stamp set
Inks: Tim Holtz distress inks, white ColorBox pigment ink
Other: Clarity stencil brush, sequins, Ranger matte medium
To get the background for the stamped hearts, I used the back side of the heart stamp from the clear set. I inked it up with Spun Sugar, and stamped it onto light pink card stock, twice, overlapping slightly. Then, I cleaned off the back side, flipped it over, and inked up the right side with Worn Lipstick ink, and stamped that directly over the background I had created with the back of the stamp.
I decided I did not like the area where they overlapped, as there were too many lines intersecting, so I repeated the process on a piece of scrap, cut it out, and raised it up with foam tape onto the card front over the previously stamped heart. This also gave the card a little added dimension. I used my Clarity brush to add soft shading along the edges of the card, then stamped the verse.
On a darker pink A2 card, I stamped the border along the left side with white pigment ink. This looks pink on the card, as the color under the white ink is pretty dark. I actually like that the stamping on the border matches the card stock for the panel. I trimmed the stamped panel so that it would fit along side the stamped border, then adhered it to the card front.
Some white opalescent sequins finish off my card today.
In addition to Impression-Obsession's challenge, I am also adding my card to:

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. The sun is out here...a rarity this time of year. Although it is cold, it looks so inviting. I think I may have to go out for a bit...even if just to stand in the sun for a while...perhaps a quick stroll around the neighborhood. Brrrr!
Thank you for visiting. Hope to see you back soon.
