Birthday Card With Silhouette Image

Happy Tuesday!  Just a quick reminder that you have until August 8th to get 15% off the new August release stamps at Technique Junkies.  And, with my code, TJ10Lynda, you can take an additional 10% off!

My kitty has been waiting VERY patiently for me to finish my morning routine and get upstairs to my art room.  She loves to snooze the morning away in her favorite window next to my desk while I create.  Once in a while, she will wander over to my desk to check out my progress.  Sometimes she lays right on my work, or a corner of the desk if it's a messy project and I don't want her to spread media all over my card.  Pics are below the post if you would like to see my Bella.
Now, for my card for today, inspired by said cat.....
Technique Junkies stamps:

I stamped the  image onto a white card stock panel, then stamped the  I Got This For You  image.  I used the Misti, and my VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink, which gives deep, saturated coverage.

I stamped the Modern Dandelions verse with Ranger Archival Ink in Fern Green, again, using my Misti so that I could restamp to get the best coverage.

I used my iBrush ink applicators to add the green haze.  I love the brush tips on these dauber applicators, and always get a smooth, seamless gradation from dark to light, or when blending colors.

I colored the centers of the dandelions, and the kitty's eyes green, the color of my Bella's eyes.  I added some lime green crystals to the centers of the dandelions to finish the panel.
I attached the panel to a black A2 card front.

Inside, I stamped the Modern Dandelions with white pigment ink, and added colored pencil green centers....
Inside

I just had to have this cat with bird stamp when I saw it in the August release images!

Bella, my kitty, is not free to catch the birds (and other outdoor critters), as she is an indoor cat. However,  she loves watching them from her cat tower by the family room glass door, which faces the back yard garden.

She has earned the title of Fly Terminator, as she does stalk and catch the flies that get indoors.  No fly swatters needed in this house.  We just relax and let nature take it's course!

Well, that's it for my card today.  I hope you liked it.  If you are a cat lover/owner, you can appreciate the verse!

Check out the rest of the stamps in this release on the TJ site HERE.  You're sure to find many favorites there!

Thanks so much for visiting.  Now, a picture of Bella waiting patiently to follow me upstairs to work, and another of her content in 'her spot' in my art room.

Blessings,
