I have two cards for your inspiration today.
Card One - Humblest Tasks
How I made it:
- I used the centers of two frame dies. On the ivory panel, I stamped the Pin Cushion and the Humblest Tasks verse with archival brown ink.
- I also stamped the Pin Cushion onto a piece of floral patterned paper.
- I fussy-cut the patterned paper one, and attached it over the stamped image on the ivory panel, then attached that to the pink panel. I added some shading with a graphite pencil.
- I layered this onto some more of the patterned paper, then onto an ivory A2 card front.
- I used the Buttons die to cut some buttons, added some embroidery floss for 'thread,' and attached them to the card front.
- I created a bow and attached that to finish the front.
- INSIDE: A panel of pp,a panel of ivory cs, and a stamped, fussy-cut image of the pin cushion finish off the inside.
INSIDE Card Two - Faith CameliaMiracle E13859 (inside)How I made it:- I white embossed the Camelia image onto watercolor paper.
- I watercolored the flowers with Gansai Tambi watercolors, and used a rectangle die to cut out the panel.
- I added the flower watercolor panel to a black A2 card front.
- I white embossed the Faith verse, and fussy cut it, then added it to the card front with foam tape for dimension.
- INSIDE: I stamped the Everything Is A Miracle verse in black onto a pink panel and attached it.
