Welcome to Day 1 of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Release Celebration!
A list of participants will be posted on the Impression Obsession blog at 6 AM each of the three days.
Each of our blogs will have a $25 gift certificate
to give away for this event!
All comments for all three days will be open
through Sunday, July 19th, at midnight CT.
Winners will be announced on Tuesday, July 21st.
You can find all of the new stamps HERE!
I have four cards to share today. In an effort to try to keep this post concise, I will list the stamps, and give brief descriptions of the mediums I used, and techniques. If you are interested in more detailed directions, please do not hesitate to ask in the comments section below, and I will give your the full details. Thanks for understanding!
CARD 1:
From Our Family C17302 (Merry Christmas verse)
I used Polychromos colored pencils to color the wreath. The Merry Christmas greeting is part of the From Our Family verse stamp.
This lovely stamp would look festive for holidays, and can also be used year round when colored in non-holiday hues.
CARD 2:
This fortune cookie set is so fun! I can think of dozens of ways to use it, and know I will be reaching for it often! In addition to the 17 'fortunes' that come with it, you can also create your own custom phrases.
I stamped a few of the fortune cookies on light brown cs, added some Copic coloring, and fussy cut, then layered them on the pp background card.
For the take-out boxes, I drew the shape, then cut them out and stamped the Textured Chevron design on them with distress antique linen ink. I bent wire to make the handles.
CARD 3:
Images are embossed with white embossing powder, and added silver glitter. Verse was silver embossed.
The Loopy Border was added, along with some fine silver cording.
CARD 3:
Cookie die cut from Kraft and white. Christmas cookies verse white embossed.
So, that's it for today. I will be back tomorrow for Day 2, with more cards for your inspiration.

ReplyDeleteThose cookies look so yummy and the coloring on the wreath is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteOH LYNDA! Of COURSE all are beautiful but how can I really "see" anything but the brilliant fortune cookie set? Just simple bent wire took the set from brilliant to phenomenal...what a stroke of creativity! The pine cones and wreath are my second faves...I love how they're presented! The cookie set is adorable but smaller die pieces I tend to stay away from mostly because my fat fingers can't hold them š Incredible work...as usual!!
ReplyDeleteNice! I especially like the fortune cookies and the Christmas cookies.
