Impression-Obsession Spring Die Release - Day 3

Welcome back for Day Three, the final day of the Impression-Obsession Spring Die Release Celebration!  I hope you are enjoying all the inspiration from the IO Design Team.
You can find links to the other Design Team members HERE, on the Impression-Obsession blog.
You have until this Sunday, April 7th, to comment on the posts for your chances to win a $25 IO Gift Certificate.

Now on to my first card for today - Curious Kitty

DIE:  Cat & Bird DIE802-Z
STAMP:  Fancy Leaves CAC224

I cut the Cat & Bird die from black card stock, and attached it to a background I had created by stamp the Fancy Leaves stamp onto watercolor paper with distress inks, then blending more distress over the stamping with my brush applicators, blending the colors to create a soft background.

I added this panel to some pp, which I had stamped the Fancy Leaves on, then distressed this as I did above.  I added the paper to an A2 card front, then attached the die piece with foam tape for dimension.  Three little black pearls give the front a bit of accent.

Inside of card:

On to Card 2:  Hello Funky Flowers

DIES:  Funky Floral Frame DIE801-YY
                 Hello DIE809-G
                 Checkered Frames DIE805-YY
STAMP:  Fresh Flowers C19104  (inside)

I cut the Funky Floral Frame die with white card stock, and added it to a piece of patterned paper, then mounted it to an A2 card front.  I used a piece of black card stock from my stash from which I had cut an oval die, as a frame around the panel.  I used foam tape, and also added an acetate window before mounting.  I did not put any 'shaker' items in it, as I felt it was busy enough.

I cut the Hello die from the same pp as above, and also from black card stock.  I offset them a tad and glued them together, then onto a piece of vellum, and attache it over the acetate window and frame I had created.

I cut Checkered Frames from white and black card stock, and added white to the front, and the black one inside, over the pp. I stamped the Fresh Flowers stamp inside.  I thought it looked similar to the Funky Floral Frame die, in the same funky style.

And for the inside:

as many chances to win as you like.
Comments for all three days will be open until
Sunday, April 7th, at noon, CT.
Winners announced Monday April 8th.

New dies are available, and can be found

I have two more cards for your inspiration today.

Card 1:  Hello Poppy Tag
         Stitched Tag DIE798-Y
Hello Die from Greeting Set DIE174-W

I cut two tags, one from watercolor paper and one from gold metallic card stock.  On the watercolor piece, I did water smooshing with red distress inks, and spattered some additional onto the tag.
I added a portion of the Poppy Frame die cut, to the watercolored Stitched Tag  Die cut, carefully cutting around to get the piece free from the border and other flowers.
I used my Sakura Quickie Glue pen, which I love for these thin dies.  It is not messy, and works very well.

I tied some black and gold cording through the openings, gluing the tags together, then adhered them with foam tape to a watercolor panel.  Some pp and a gold strip along the edge border one edge.

The Hello die from the Greeting Set (an older IO die), was cut from black and gold card stock, and I layered them and added them to the front.

And for the inside:

And Card Two:  Happy Birthday Poppy

         Poppy Frame DIE794-YY
              Untie The Ribbons C5402 (inside)

I used watercolor to apply the smoosh technique onto watercolor paper for the card front, and for the Stitched Tag  die cut.  I cut the tag Stitched Tag from green background I had created, and layered the coral panel onto an A2 card, then foam-taped the tag onto it for dimension.

I cut the Poppy Frame from white card stock, and reserved the insides, which I had colored with Copic markers.  I adhered the Poppy Frame, then added each colored piece into it's respective area.

The Happy birthday verse from the Life Stuff Sentiments set is stamped in VersaFine Claire nocturne ink onto the banner that is included in the Stitched Tag  die set.  I added this piece to the tag, and tied a piece of Hug Snug white seam binding into a bow through the loophole.

And, for the inside, some more cut-out pieces, a Pink Stitched Sentiment Banner,  and stamping.....

I hope my cards inspire you today.  You can check out all the new release dies at the Impression-Obsession store HERE.

Don't forget, leave a comment for another chance to win a $25 IO Gift Certificate.  You can leave one comment each day on each blog.

I have two cards for you today.
For my first card today, I am going with some bright spring colors....

 Dies:  Stitched Flower Bouquet DIE806-ZZ
           Whimsical Scalloped Tag DIE799-W
           Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banners DIE814-U
           Friend DIE808-H
Stamps:  Beauty Text CC142
Hello from the Sunshine MC660 clear set

On a white A2 card, I brushed some green distress ink to create a soft background.

I stamped the Beauty Text stamp onto the die-cut Whimsical Scalloped Tag, along with the  word Hello from the Sunshine set, wrapped some string around it and through the hole, and foam-taped it to the card front.

I used Arteza Real Brush Markers to add some bright color to the die-cut Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banners, then added a die-cut Friend  to it, and attached it under the Hello.

I used the Arteza Real Brush Markers to color the flowers from the Stitched Flower Bouquet, and added them to the tag.
I love the bright, vivid colors these markers bring to my projects.  Especially this time of year!   Some black pearl embellishments finish the front of my card.

INSIDE:

And...now on to card # 2....

DIES:
Stitched Flower Bouquet DIE806-ZZ
Checkered Frames DIE805-YY

I added a panel of white and gold pp to an A2 card, and used the leftover piece from when I had previously cut the
Checkered Frames Dies from some white card stock for a frame around the outside.
I added one of the pieces of the Checkered Frames Dies to create the border inside.

I added some white and gold flowers from the Stitched Flower Bouquet , building up a collage of them.

I created another collage inside the card....

I hope you are inspired by my cards.  There are so many amazing dies in this release.  Be sure to check them out at the Impression-Obsession store HERE.

And don't forget to leave a comment for your entry for a chance to win a $25 IO gift certificate.
