How I made my card:

• On bristol card stock, I stamped the Kitty With Heart image, and watercolored it using Derwent Inktense pencils and a water brush.
• I used a circle die to cut the image.
• On a gray A2 card front, I layered some pink and gray and white patterned paper, and added a ribbon.  I placed the kitty image.
• I stamped the One Day At A Time verse to the pink panel.
  
• I added a couple of tag die cuts to the top.
• INSIDE:  I layered some papers and punched hearts.

Impression Obsession January 2021 Release Celebration - Day Two

I have two cards for your inspiration today. 

Card One: Happy Together

How I made it:

• On white bristol card stock, I white embossed the Peony Pattern.
• I used Shabby Shutters distress ink, and an applicator, to create the background color by brushing the color over the entire panel, over the embossing.  I used a soft clean cloth to clean the ink off of the embossing.
• I attached the image panel to a white A2 card front.
• I stamped the Happy Together verse with the same green ink, and attached it to the card front.
• I white embossed the Floral Heart image, painted the flowers, and fussy cut the flowers and added them to the card front along and behind the verse panel.
• INSIDE:  I stamped the Day Filled With Love verse with the same green distress ink.

Card Two: Day Filled With Love

How I made it:

• I cut branches from the Leafy Branch die from soft green card stock, and added them to a white card stock panel.  
• I cut lavender hearts from the Mini Hearts Row die, and added them
• I cut the Stitched Tag die, and cut the bottom off, and with a harlequin pattern stencil, I brushed lavender and green distress inks to create a pattern on the tag.
• I stamped Day Filled With Love verse on the tag, added some silk ribbons, and added them to the panel with the die cuts.
• I added the panel to a lavender A2 card front.
• INSIDE: I used a stencil and distress inks to add some leaf branches.

Card One: Gentle Thoughts

How I made it:

• On a watercolor paper panel, I stamped the Floral Heart image, using VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.
• I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to paint the flower and heart, and used a graphite pencil to add shadows around the outside.
• I made a mask to protect the image, then with dark gray archival ink, I stamped various areas of the French Text for the background.
• On a scrap piece of watercolor paper, I added some of the same color paint as the flower, then stamped the Gentle Thoughts verse, layered the piece to a strip of gray, then added it to the card front.
• I layered the panel to a gray A2 card front, and added some silver foil pearls.

Card Two: Missing You

How I made it:

• On bristol card stock, I stamped the Wildflower Heart Wreath with antique linen distress ink, for no-line coloring.
• I colored the flowers and vines with Polychromos colored pencils.
• I added some distressing around the edges with distress ink and an applicator brush.
• The verse from the Warm Fuzzies Sentiments set is stamped with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink.
• INSIDE: I stamped the Wildflower Heart Wreath with pink distress ink, and the One Day At A Time verse.
