I inked my flower image with distress ink in antique linen, using my Misti. I then used Tombow markers to do my 'watercoloring.' I added the light lavendar to the flowers to see where the details were, then went back in with darker shades of purples to bring out the shadows and shapes. I did the same with the leaves. When finished, I went in with some dark colored pencils to add final shadows, and a touch of white to bring out highlights.
I brushed antique linen around the edges with my Clarity brush, and stamped parts of the PB paisley swirls 40-011 stamp intermittently.
I used a Die-namics stitched rectangle die to cut out the panel, then mounted it onto cardstock and an A2 card.
I added the thank you on vellum, using a Spellbinder's die, and some Simon Says Stamp assorted moonshine sequins.
Hope you will take some time to check out my fellow design team ladies' cards, and enter the challenge and play with us this month. The theme is Spring Flowers, and you have until May 4th to enter.
Thanks for visiting. I always look at and enjoy your comments.
Blessings,
