Amazing Day With Altenew Stamps

Today was one of those days where I had planned to do so much more than I actually did get accomplished.  I tend to over-extend myself, and have been trying to work on that bad habit.  I did get into my craft room for a couple of hours to do some stamping and card making, so I feel good about that.  Other than that, it's all a blur of activity and chores, yadda-yadda.

So, here's what I created with my stamps today.....
Materials used:
Stamps - Freesia, verse, and background scroll stamps by Altenew
Woodgrain background from unmounted stash - unknown
                Script background stamp - unknown
Other - Tim Holtz distress antique linen ink for background and woodgrain; Tombow markers for freesia, spun sugar distress ink for scrolls in background; gems by Paper Studio; scrap of patterned paper along left edge.

Here is a close-up of the background work....
And here is the inspiration photo for the Altenew February Inspiration Challenge , to which I am entering my card.

I am also entering my card to these challenges:

Simon Says Work It Wednesday Challenge - Use something new (just purchased the gems)

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything goes

Tuesday Throwdown - Favorite embellishment (gems)

Thanks so much for visiting today.  Hope to see you back here soon.  Enjoy your weekend!  I am not making any plans this weekend....just relaxing and enjoying, and catching up on some reading and maybe some Zentangles, and of course, some stamping.
