Serendipity Falling Leaves Card

Just popping in to post a card for the Serendipity Leave It Bare Challenge
For my card, I chose some oldie but goodie Serendipity leaf stamps that I have in my stash.  I created the strip of color on my card by masking off the area, then used my distress inks to sponge on some deep autumn/fall colors.  I stamped the fall words (stamp unknown...was in my stash unlabeled).

I stamped the leaves in Memento black ink, and the verse with distress inks.  A dusting of dried marigold around the edges with my Clarity brush and a trio of black crystals finish off the card.

I am also adding my card to these challenges:

Mod Squad Challenge Blog - Falling leaves

AAA Cards Challenge - Masking

Make My Monday Challenge - No patterned paper

Cards in Envy Challenge Blog  - Goodbye summer/Hello fall

Thanks so much for visiting.  See you tomorrow!

Blessings,

lynda

  1. What a wonderful autumn creation! I love how you did the vertical panel and all the great fall colors. Thanks for stopping by my blog. You asked a question but left no way to contact you, so I'll answer your question here. The little mouse image I used was from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps (SNSS). I used a clear set which has most likely been retired, but the digi image is still available here:

  2. LOVE this, Lynda - I think your text stamp is an old Hero Arts one, part of a season set......is it a woodblock? One of my faves, and I always forget to use it.....It's called Fall Memories.

  3. Thanks, Lin. I think you're correct about the stamp being Hero Arts, as I have the rest of the seasons as well. I removed the rubber from all my old wood stamps, and thought I had labeled all, but apparently I did miss some. Thanks for your kind comment.
