Now, pour yourself a cuppa, sit back, relax and enjoy the hop! I have
This card features the fabulous Side Hat and elegant Sketched Flowers new release stamps. I also used Classy & Fabulous (verse - non-release).
For the background, I stamped the Sketched Flowers with TH distress ink. I stamped off on scrap paper to get a second generation lighter background.
I embossed Side Hat in black and red, then fussy-cut it and used craft foam to adhere and raise it over the background. Some fancy ribbon and a feather and gemstone embellish the hat. All is layered onto red card stock, then onto a white card. I added the sentiment, and another gemstone.
OK...I couldn't resist just one more, cuz I just adore these little owls!.....
I used an owl from the You're A Hoot (set of 7) , and a stencil from the A Colorful Life Designs line. I sponged spun sugar distress ink through the stencil to create the background. I watercolored the owl with my Arteza real brush markers, fussy-cut her, and gave her a feather to stand on. That's it...easy-peasy.
From here, hop on over to Pat Huntoon's blog for more inspiration and ideas with her release projects.
And remember, to get 10% off non-release stamps to use with the new release stamps, which are 15% off until May 8th, just use my code TJ10Lynda.
