Happy fall, y'all!  Just popping in to post a fall card.  I am having so much FUN with this leaf stamp from Technique Junkies!  Here's the first card I made with it....
I love fall, so just can't keep my hands off my fall stamps.  For my card today, I used two Technique Junkies stamps.  The leaf is #S324 Big Ornamental Leaf.  The verse is from the set S546 Things I Want To Do.
I used distress ink minis on the stamp, in my Misti.  On mixed media paper, I used various colors, inking and misting as I went along.  I used a brush to move some of the color around on the image, then when dry, repeated the stamping.  The verse was stamped with Ranger Archival ink.
I sponged some scattered straw and peeled paint distress ink around the image, then fussy-cut the right edge before mounting the panel onto a green A2 card front.  Some amber gems finish off the card.
Be sure to stop by on the Technique Junkies blog tomorrow for the October new release and blog hop.  I promise, you won't be disappointed.  The new stamps are so yummy, and I can't wait for you to see them.  My hop post will be right here tomorrow morning 8 AM EST, so come on back.  Or, hop on at Technique Junkies blog.

Oh, am I in the mood for some fall stamping!  I am posting my card from last October, when I was on the Splitcoaststampers design team.  The cards we made could not be posted anywhere but in the SCS Fan Club for six months.  So...now they are free to fly.
I used a Northwoods stamp from my stash from way back, and embossed it with black embossing powder.  For the coloring, I used Tombow markers.
I added the letter in the mailbox by slitting the mailbox.  Then I fashioned an envelope from scrap paper, and wrote snail mail on it.
Here's a link to my Splitcoaststamper's post with this card, with full details
I love to get mail...real mail, in my mailbox, not junk, mail!  Don't you?  It's like a very special hug.  I will make an effort to send more cards and notes the old fashioned way.  I like to make people smile!
Thanks for visiting today.  I will be back tomorrow with more inspiration.
Blessings,

This cat!  All of us coffee-lovers can relate to this critter, I'm sure.  The eyes are what cracks me up....
I was unable to capture the shimmer and glitz in my photo.  The hat, mug, and newspaper are painted with Shimmering Bliss.

For today's card, I used Magenta's Azalea stamp.  I love, love, love this stamp.
I stamped the Azalea onto watercolor paper, using antique linen distress ink so the lines would dissolve into the watercoloring to achieve a no-line look.
I watercolored the image, then touched it up with colored pencils.  I watercolored the soft background, then lightly stamped (stamping ink off onto scrap paper first) some images from Magenta that were in my stash.  Unfortunately, I do not have the names of these images, as I had unmounted them some years ago, and neglected to write the names.
When all was dry, I fussy-cut the image along the right side so that some of the petal was off the panel.
I used some Magenta decorative paper to cover a white A2 card, then a piece of maruyama mesh over the right side.  I added the stamped panel over this, and a metal Happy Birthday accent from some old Magenta stash, (which I colored with my copper leafing pen) for the verse .
I used some droplet embellishments for a little more texture and a touch of shine.
