Welcome to the Impression Obsession
Summer Die Release Celebration!
You can find information and a list of participants
on the IO blog.  There will be three $25 gift certificates given away, chosen randomly from comments
on all of the design team blogs.
All comments will be open until Monday, June 8th.
Winners will be announced on June 9th.
All of the NEW DIES are available now!
You can find them at the Impression Obsession site HERE.

I have three cards to share with you today.

Card 1:

Dies/Stamps:

For the Large Porcelain Pitcher, I added Ranger Verdigris embossing powder to the die cut.  I dabbed VersaMark embossing ink onto the die, then added the embossing powder and heat set.  I LOVE the dimension the Verdigris embossing powder gives the pitcher!

For the Summer Bouquet flowers, I added some CraftT mini-luster rub-ons to the dies, then arranged them in the vase onto a die cut of the Postage Cuts

I layered that, then added it to a white A2 card, and added some strips along the edge.
I embossed the Happy thoughts verse from the Warm Fuzzies Sentiments set and cut with one of the dies from the Small Tags.
Some gold cord and gold foil pearls finish the card.

Card 2:

Dies/Stamps:

I just had so much fun with these cactus!  I cut the Potted Cactus from bristol card stock, then added watercolor with a waterbrush.  I added several layers of watercolor, to build up the intensity of the colors.  For the spikes, I used a white gel pen
I added some yellow distress ink through the Rays Stencil with my ibrush applicators, then stamped the Happy Every Day verse with VersaMark Clair Nocturne ink.  I attached this panel to a green A2 card front.

Card 3:

Dies/Stamps:

I cut the Woodgrain Frame from cream card stock, and applied shades of brown distress ink.  I attached it to a shimmery gold scrap, then added it to a white A2 card front.

I cut the Cactus Tag from white card stock, then used Arteza Everblend Markers to color the cactus and pot inside portions. I left the border portion white, and added that and the inside pieces to the card front.  I added a gold brad.

I stamped the Prickly verse onto a white cs scrap, and used a circle die to cut and added it to the frame with foam tape.

I used a white Pitt Pastel pencil to add highlights to the cactus, and added some spikes with a white gel pen.

Phew!  Long post, but hopefully you found some ideas you can try.

Thanks so much for visiting.  Be sure to check out the other new dies at the Impression Obsession site HERE.

Blessings,
