If you are here from Beth Norman's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, head on over the the Technique Junkies blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

All of the April 2018 new release stamps are 15% off until April 8th!  Take advantage of this amazing bargain today.  Just put your desired stamps in your shopping card, and the discount will be applied at checkout.  If there are other non-release stamps you love, just use my code TJ10Lynda to get 10% off at Technique Junkies!  I have two cards to share with you today.  I will be back later throughout the month with more!
Card # 1:
I am just wild about these fun birds!  The set comes with these two beauties, four more this size, and six smaller ones.  I'm telling you, you need this set!  The possibilities are limitless!
STAMPS:  (links provided)
Party Chicks, Set of 12
Sweet Fairy Tale, Set of 5
Stencil Rings
OTHER:
Tim Holtz distress inks
Ranger archival ink
Enamel Accents black
Spellbinders die

I stamped the birds onto Strathmore smooth bristol, water colored them with TH distress inks, then used a circle die to cut them out and added the birds over the layering pieces, which I used a rectangle die to cut.
For the background, I inked the Stencil Rings with TH distress ink, and stamped them onto white card stock, then sponged TH distress ink in the same color over them.

Card # 2:
STAMPS:  (Links provided)
Fairy Tale Flowers Background
Sweet Fairy Tale, Set of 5
OTHER:
Tombow Markers
Ranger gold embossing powder
Gold glitter paper
Embossing powder gold
Oval die
Crystal gems

I embossed the background onto watercolor paper, then used Tombow markers and water to paint it.  I stamped it twice, and used the second one to paint some of the flowers.  I fussy-cut them and added them to the background with foam tape.  I embossed and cut out the verse with an oval die from my stash.  All is layered onto a piece of gold glitter card stock, then an A2 card.  Some crystal gems finish it off.

From here, hop on over to Pat Huntoon's blog  for more inspiration and great ideas with her release projects.

Don't forget, to get 10% off non-release stamps to go with the new release stamps, which are 15% off until April 8th, just use my code TJ10Lynda.
And now, a 'sneak peak' of cards I will be sharing during this month.....

Thanks for visiting.  I always enjoy your lovely comments, and appreciate you spending time here.  Now, enjoy the hop, check out my fellow design team friends, and have fun shopping!
