There are so many fabulous stamps, it's difficult to pick a favorite.  So, I decided to make two cards for this post.  Both cards use Janine Tinklenberg designs.  More cards will follow later in the month.

Merry Christmas Lighthouse
Stamps:
Technique Junkies Brant Point Lighthouse (new)
Technique Junkies Christmas Ornaments Trio (previous)

I stamped the lighthouse with Ranger Archival ink watering can onto gray card stock, and colored it with Polychromos colored pencils.  To created the winter sky, I used Faber Castell pastels, applying them with a makeup pad.  The Merry Christmas is from the above ornaments trio set.

Christmas Cactus Season's Greetings
Stamps:
Technique Junkies Christmas Cactus (new)
Season's Greetings Set of 6 (new)
Red links go to the TJ website.

I inked just the flower part of the stamp with TH distress ink in antique linen to achieve the no-line affect, and stamped it twice along the top of a watercolor card panel.  I used TH distress inks to watercolor the images, and added some spatters.

For the verse, I stamped with VersaMark, and gold embossed it.

I added some VersaMark along the edges of the panel, and gold embossed all around.  I added the panel to a white A2 card.

I decided it needed something else, so I softened the white with some distress ink, which I brushed on with my Clarity stencil brushes.

I hope you are enjoying the hop.  From here, hop on over to Pat Huntoon's blog for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping in today.  I appreciate your visiting, and your comments.

Blessings,
