Hedgehugs

Just a few more days until Valentine's Day!!  I made another granddaughter card today.  I finished the first one a while ago.  Now I can get them both mailed.  I also wanted to give you a little more inspiration for the All About Love Challenge at the Impression-Obsession blog.  You still have a few hours to get your card in to be eligible for an IO gift certificate!

Stamps/Die:
Hedgehugs F21160
LOVE DIE271-D

For my card, I started with a white panel of bristol paper, and stamped the Hedgehugs and colored them with Arteza Real Brush Markers.  I used an Arteza waterbrush
to add a little water as needed.

For the heart shape, I used a heart stencil and brushed in some red and pink distress ink, creating the heart highlight for the hugging critters.  I used pink distress ink to stamp the heart background, stamping off for second generation inking.

I die-cut the LOVE die from red card stock four times, and layered the pieces together for dimension, then added them to the card front.

Inside:  I just stamped the verses from the Hedgehugs set and created another heart highlight with distress inks and stencil.

So, that's a wrap.  I hope you have entered the challenge.  If not, you still have time.  Deadline is 7 PM central time.  Hope to see you there.  You just might win a $25 gift certificate to the IO store!  Good luck!

I am adding my card to these challenges:
