Purrmaid Card With Arteza Real Brush Markers

Hello again, my lovelies!  Today I have a card using stamps from the Technique Junkies June release.  If you didn't see the release post yesterday, you can check it out HERE.

Technique Junkies stamps links:
Oceans Of Love Set of 9
Seahorses Set Of 4
Bubble Flow

INSIDE
I created the background by stamping the Bubble Flow image onto a blue card stock panel with white pigment ink.  I attached the panel to a white A2 card.  I also stamped the bubbles onto a white scrap, and used a circle die to cut it out.

I stamped the verse from the Seahorses Set of 4  onto a white scrap, and cut that with a circle die, and also cut another larger circle.  I distressed all the circles before adding them to the card front.

I colored the Purrmaid stamp from the Oceans Of Love Set of 9.  I painted it with Arteza Real Brush Markers, and fussy cut it, adding it to the largest circle.

Inside, I stamped the Purrmaid onto blue card stock, and colored it with Polychromos colored pencils.

And that's a wrap for today.  I hope you have enjoyed this release so far.  These stamps are fabulous, and I am having so much fun creating with them!

Don't forget, until June 8th you get 15% off all the new June release stamps!  And, if you use my code, TJ10Lynda, you get 10% additional off of your order.

Thanks so much for visiting today.  I appreciate you stopping by.

I have three cards for today's post.

Card 1:
Floral Sea Horse SD1010
Stir My Soul SDX169
INSIDE
Whitecaps S832
Underwater Borders SS107
Best Things In Life S849

I created the background on Bristol smooth card stock, using distress inks and brush applicators.  I stamped the Whitecaps  over the background, faintly.  I stamped images from the Underwater Borders set and the fern from the Best Things In Life stamp.

I stamped the Floral Sea Horse with Rich Cocoa Memento ink, and watercolored it with Gansai Tambi watercolors.  Some sparkling clear crystals, and a strip with the Stir My Soul finish the card.

Card 2:
Beach Answer SD1024
Oceans of Love Set of 9 SS119
INSIDE

I stamped the Beach Answer image onto Bristol white card stock, and colored with Arteza Everblend alcohol markers.

For the bikini, I created leopard shaped spots by making small spots with the alcohol marker, then used a black Micron pen to draw the black around the spots.

I repeated the spots on the layering strip, and on the inside of the card.

Card 3:
Oceans of Love Set of 9   SS119
INSIDE

Currents stencil

I created the background with the A Colorful Life Currents stencil (available at TJ) and distress inks.

I stamped the mermaid/narwhal image from the Oceans of Love Set with VersaFine Clair nocturne ink, and used Arteza Real Brush Markers to color the image.  I love the vibrant, clean colors of these markers, and the long, fine brush tips.

I used the stencil inside, and stamped the birthday verse from the Oceans of Love Set.

You can see all the new June stamps on the TJ site HERE.

And, here are the designer's blog links.  Check out their blogs for more inspiration.
Thanks so much for visiting.  I hope you are inspired by our June release.

Old Is New At Impression Obsession

It's Old Is New time at Impression Obsession.  Today we are using some of IO's older stamps on our blogs.  They need some lovin' too!
IO stamps links:
Botanical Heart F20802
See The Light D13785
Cover-A-Card Wooden Plank CC177

I created a Wooden Plank background on Bristol card stock with distress ink.  I framed an area with a layering frame die from my stash.

For the Botanical Heart, I stamped the heart with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then painted the images with Arteza real brush markers.

I attached the panel to a pink A2 card front.  I added some pearl drops for embellishment, and stamped the See The Light verse.

Inside, I stamped the image twice, and added some distressing around the edges.

That's it.  Quick and easy today.  I love this elegant heart with it's dainty flowers.  Perfect for so many occasions.  And this sentiment really is beautiful.

Thanks so much for visiting today.  Be sure to stop by the other designers' post to see their inspiration for our Old Is New day.  You can find their links to their blog posts HERE.

Impression Obsession Die Cut Obsession - Moose Scene

Welcome to Die Cut Obsession!  Today IO designers are featuring IO's dies on our blogs.  I am using the Moose Scene die from the summer 2020 release on my card today.
IO Stamps/Dies Links:

I cut the Scenic Moose die and used daubers to add distress inks to the die cut.  I placed a second die cut (which I had cut from paper) onto some scrap white card stock, and added color through the die cut, using the same colors as I had for the original die.

I stacked the die cut onto the scrap piece, which I had used a circle die to cut slightly smaller than the moose die.
I used pp for my background on a brown A2 card front.  I added a layer, then the die cut with foam tape.

I added the Get Well Wishes verse, and that was it.

I hope you are enjoying the die cards on our blogs today.  You can see the other designers' cards HERE.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  We will be back soon with more new dies to inspire you and get your creative juices going.  You can see the new dies HERE!

Impression Obsession Challenge - Play With Your Food

Welcome to our Play With Your Food challenge at Impression Obsession.  I'm jumping in a little late with my card.  I seem to be losing track of time a lot lately.

IO stamp/dies links:
Life Is Sweet D12219
Jam Jar Fruits DIE828-V
Jam Jar DIE827-YY

I used the Jam Jar die for my 'bowl.'  I just cut the top off.  I added the bowl with foam tape tape white panel, onto a peach card.

I used sponge daubers with distress ink to add shading to my die cut fruits, and added them to the bowl.  I stamped the verse, layered it, fussy cut, and added it to the card.

Easy-peasy, and oh so fun!

Be sure to check out the other dt's projects HERE.

Thanks so much for visiting.

Country Church Card

Well, this is my final card for the WWDB (What We Do Best) challenge at Technique Junkies. Today is the last day of the challenge.  I have created 28 cards in all, and I loved making these cards and sending them.  This challenge was all about acknowledging people who are on the front lines of the Covid 19 pandemic,  people who need encouragement to deal with their fears and health through this ordeal, those who are working in essential business and stores, and all of us who are trying to cope and get through this.

My card today uses the Technique Junkies stamp Country Church, and I love the simplicity of this quaint little church.

I stamped the  image onto white card stock, and used my Misti to add color.  I used Ranger archival inks for the image, for their permanence.

I used distress inks with daubers to apply the sky colors, and to add color to the church.  I used color pencils to add some highlights and touches to the church.  When finished, I stamped over the image one more time to add back the details.

A peace die from my stash seemed the perfect sentiment for this card.

I hope you have enjoyed this challenge.  Don't forget to use my code, TJ10Lynda, for 10% off your entire purchase any time you shop at the Technique Junkies store.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I appreciate your visits and comments.  Stay safe and well.

Impression Obsession Die Cut Obsession

It's Impression Obsession's Die Cut Obsession time.    There are so many fabulous dies in the IO line, and today we are featuring some of them on our blogs.

I have a 'thing' for leaves, branch, and trees.  And I really love this Leafy Branch die.  I use it often when I make cards or on other projects.

IO Die/Stamp links:

I created a swatch of color diagonally on my card front with distress ink and a brush applicator.  I used the Leafy Branch die cut as a stencil.

I brushed ink through the negative part of the stencil, after removing the die cut.
I repeated this, using different portions of the hand made die cut 'stencil.

I stamped the Sending a hug verse from the Warm Fuzzies Sentiments set with archival purple ink.

I layered two die cuts of the Leafy Branch, and attached it to the card front.

Inside, I brushed more color, and used a small portion of the die cut stencil to add more branches.

That's it.  A quick and easy card, and so much fun to make.
You can find ideas and inspiration from the other designers on the IO blog HERE

I am adding my card to these challenges:
AAA Cards - Up to 1/3 and repeated image
Allsorts Challenge - Anything goes
Seize The Birthday - Monochromatic

Thank you for stopping by.

Nature Is The Art of God - #WWDB Challenge Card

Hi!  Just a quick stop to post a card for the #WWDB Challenge at Technique Junkies, for week 4, Day 2.

Stamps links:
Fir Forest
Art of God
Enjoy Every Moment

I white embossed the Fir Forest and the Art of God verse onto bristol smooth card.  For the northern lights background, I used sponge daubers to swipe distress inks over the entire card and embossed image.

I used a clean cloth to wipe the inks from the embossing.

I wanted a little more panache, so I painted some Shimmering Bliss (available at Technique Junkies) in colors to match the distress inks, right over them.  This really shimmers and glows in real life!  So pretty.  I cleaned off the embossing again, then layered the card.

Inside:  I stamped the Fir Forest and Enjoy Every Moment verse.

I am adding my card to these challenges:
CAS Watercolor - Night sky
The Craft Stamper  - Anything goes
Time Out Challenges - The arts

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you will join us in the challenge.  You can find info HERE.

Here's my discount code, TJ10Lynda, for you to enjoy 10% off your TJ orders!
