Mother Nature's Box of Crayons!

Recently I purchased some stencils, and have been waiting for an opportunity to use them.  Now that I am between release and design team commitments, I am having a play with my new toys.

Stencil:  Leaf One Stencil
Stamp:   Autumn, Set of 6

I love all things fall, so I really had fun with this stencil.  I used some ivory card stock, and cut it into an A2 card.

I used various 'fall colors' of distress ink, and my brush applicators, with the Leaf One stencil to add the different leaves.  I overlapped some, and layered them on in a cascading type of design.  I just brushed the color through the individual leaves in the stencil, overlapping and varying my colors.

I stamped the verse from the Autumn Set of 6 set to stamp the verse with Ranger Archival ink in my Misti.
It was very difficult for me to stop there, and not add some embellishments, or layers.
I'm not a CAS type of card maker.  Sometimes, however, a design just really needs to stand on it's own.  That's how I felt about these leaves.

On the inside, I added a couple of the leaves, and and the Leaves Turn SDX160 verse.

I am adding my card to these challenges:
AAA Cards - Up to one third
Allsorts Challenge - Trees and leaves
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  - Anything goes
Simply Less Is More - Typography

UPDATE:  I am adding a video to show my technique.
