Pumpkin Spice Challenge at Impression Obsession!

Good Thursday everyone!  Today starts the Impression Obsession 'Pumpkin Spice' challenge.   You may include pumpkins, coffee, both, or either one.  I went with pumpkins and one of my favorite sentiments from the fall stamp release.
Stamps/dies links:
Large Frame DIE860-WW
Pumpkins CL978
Pumpkin Kisses CL979
Cover-A-Card Gingham CC006 (background)

I used the Large Frame die to cut the frame, and set that aside, while I created the background.  For that, I used the Cover-A-Card Gingham background stamp.  I inked it with my distress ink cubes, and stamped it onto ivory card stock.

I did not use the Misti, or I would have stamped it two or three times.   I was going to stamp it again, using my Misti, but on second thought I kind of liked the distressed look of the rough stamping, so I kept it.  I added the verse with Nocturne Claire VersaFine ink.

I placed the background behind the frame, and mounted that to a green A2 card front.
I stamped the pumpkins, colored them with Copic markers, and fussy cut them.  I added them with foam tape for dimension.

Can I just say I love this stamp!  It's perfect for backgrounds, and looks great in any/every color or combinations of colors!

I hope you will join us for the fun at the Impression Obsession blog.  Check out the other designer's projects, and make one of your own.  You just might win a $25 IO gift certificate!  And your card will be featured on the IO blog.  You can't win if you don't enter.

Did you check out the Winter 2019 Die Release at Impression Obsession?  You can shop the new dies at the IO store HERE.  See my previous two posts for inspiration and links to the other designer's blogs.

I am adding my card to these challenges:
Allsorts Challenge - Anything goes
Sunday Stamps - Colors
Watercolor Wednesday - Masculine anything goes

Thanks for stopping by today.

Blessings,
