We're Blessed Challenge Card

I had fun with this card tonight.  It's for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge.  The theme is Anything Goes!

I used:

     Stamps:  Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Floral Greetings clear stamp set

                    Simon Says Stamp Blessed clear stamp set

     Inks:  Tim Holtz distress inks and markers

I stamped the flowers onto watercolor paper, then used TH inks to watercolor them, and the leaves.  Then I fussy-cut them out, and adhered them to a white panel, which I had flicked specks onto.  I used foam tape for dimension, as well as glue dots.  I inked the verse with TH markers, then stamped it in the bottom area.  

I made the panel slightly smaller than the A2 card I adhered it to, then added a narrow strip of black and white striped card stock, which I had stamped with an old background stamp from my stash, and cut into narrow strips.

I decided to stop there, and keep it CAS.  The Blessed stamp set is new to me, and I adore all the blessing sayings in it.  I know I will be using it a lot!
